What the bank is
minicrossword.com describes its unlimited mode as generated practice, separate from the edited daily. playminicrossword.com says its extra puzzles cover 5×5, 6×6, and 7×7. word.tips talks about one mini per calendar day, so its “unlimited” wording is not a second puzzle. I am not copying any of those grids. The board on this page is one of fourteen original 5×5 puzzles whose entries were checked so every across word and every down word is a real word in the grid. The same fourteen are also the dated archive, because they are the puzzles that exist. I would rather say that plainly than pretend a random button invents a new theme.
Use Next, Random, or the puzzle selector above the board to change grids without waiting for a new day. All fourteen 5×5 choices stay on this URL; they do not generate separate indexable random pages. The 7×7 page has two word-square layouts. There is no 6×6 URL.
How a new day gets added
A scheduled job looks for the next calendar date. It may publish a grid only when every answer already has a clue in the on-site list. If it cannot build that grid, it leaves the date missing. It does not borrow a newspaper’s clues to fill the hole. Until that job has published more than these fourteen, unlimited play means replaying the bank, not an infinite generator.

Questions
Is this infinite?

Are these the Times unlimited puzzles?
No. The Times mini is a subscription product. These entries were written here.
Where is the bigger grid?
On the 7×7 page. It is four 3×3 word squares split by a black cross.
