Terms of use
Play the puzzles, print a date for a class, and do not repost the grids as if you wrote them. Facts about other sites belong to those pages.

Using the puzzles
You may fill the grids, keep a time on your device, and print a date for yourself or a class. You may not sell the grids, or publish them on another site as your work. The clues and the filled answers for our dates are original to this site. Newspaper puzzles remain theirs. A link to a newspaper is not a license to copy their grid.
The site is offered as-is. A wrong clue or a broken square is something to email to [email protected], not a warranty. We can remove a date or correct a sentence without notice when a source changes. These terms are governed by ordinary contract sense: if a court finds one line unenforceable, the rest still apply. The privacy page is part of the bargain for anything stored on your device.

Questions
Can a teacher photocopy a puzzle?
Yes, for a class. Please keep the date URL so the answer key has a home.
Can I post your grid on my blog?
Link to the date. Do not copy the clue list onto another domain.
