What loads, and when

This site loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra ads as soon as the page opens, on your first view. The cookie banner is a notice and a way to withdraw, not a gate: nothing waits for you to press Accept. Press Reject and the site stops those three for 180 days; the footer's Cookie settings button brings the banner back so you can change your mind.

A YouTube player is different. The picture you see first is hosted here, and the player is built only when you press play. Until then YouTube receives no request from this page.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Reject, store a denial and do not wait for a click.

Cookies and local storage

The table above lists our storage keys and known third-party cookie families; third-party names can change. mc-consent, mc-ad-closed and mc-scores are local-storage keys on this domain, not cookies; they never travel in an HTTP request and we cannot read them from our server. mc-consent holds { choice, exp } and expires after 180 days. mc-ad-closed holds { closed, exp } after you close the Social Bar and also expires after 180 days. mc-scores holds your finish times until you clear site data for this domain.

The analytics and advertising entries are cookies set by the named third parties when their scripts run. We do not set a first-party advertising cookie and we do not sell personal information. Clearing site data or using your browser's cookie controls removes all of them; the next visit starts again with the default-on notice.

Analytics and session recording

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BBWDCS3BW3, property website_343_gameinfo_minicrossword.pro in the game_websites account) records page views, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and automatic browser measurement events. Google acts as our processor; its privacy terms are at https://policies.google.com/privacy .

Microsoft Clarity (project z89b07v1nt) records sessions with masking and builds heatmaps so we can see where a clue or a button is hard to use. Clarity masks text you type into forms by default. Playback data is retained for 30 days; heatmaps and aggregated metrics for up to 13 months, according to the Clarity documentation (one vendor source). Advertising

Adsterra (publisher 3403020, website 6174446) serves two page-level formats on this site: a Native Banner in the content column and a Social Bar fixed at the bottom of the viewport. Adult advertising is switched off in the Adsterra panel. We do not run popunders, interstitials, Smartlinks or banner units on this build, and ads.txt declares only the Adsterra seller line that matches this publisher id.

Adsterra and its demand partners may use cookies or device identifiers to cap frequency, measure a view and, where you have consented, personalise an ad. You can withdraw consent here with Reject, and you can opt out of personalised advertising across participating companies at https://optout.aboutads.info/ , https://www.youronlinechoices.com/ and https://adssettings.google.com . Adsterra's own policy is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/ .

A Social Bar can be closed with the button beside it. That choice is stored in mc-ad-closed for 180 days, so the bar stays closed on later pages and later visits until the key expires or you clear site data.

Legal bases and international transfers

This build starts analytics, session recording and advertising by default. Visiting the page is not an explicit consent action; Accept records an affirmative choice and Reject disables these integrations. The legal basis for mc-scores is the performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)). We keep consent records only in your browser; we do not build a server-side profile.

Google, Microsoft and Adsterra may process data outside the EEA/UK. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they offer for international transfers. We do not control their retention beyond the periods stated above and in their own policies.

Your rights and choices

If you are in the EEA or UK, you can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of the personal data we hold, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to the address below; we answer privacy requests from the same mailbox. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you can ask whether we sell or share personal information. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the Adsterra placement described above, which you can turn off with Reject. Do Not Track is not a single standard we can honour beyond the Global Privacy Control signal described above. We honour that signal by storing a denial.

Children and changes

The site is a general-audience puzzle page and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If you believe a child's data reached us, write to the address below and we will delete it.

We change this page when the build changes. The date at the top is the last material change. Privacy mail goes to [email protected].

How do I change my choice?

Use Cookie settings in the footer, then press Reject or Accept. Reject stores a denial for 180 days in mc-consent. Clearing site data removes the record and the next visit shows the notice again.

Do you sell data?

No. We do not sell personal information and we do not run a login or a server-side profile.

Does YouTube load on page view?

No. The player is created only when you press play, and only then does YouTube set its cookies.

Who is the ad seller?

Adsterra, publisher 3403020. The ads.txt file declares that seller line, and the panel has adult advertising switched off.
